Muntanyes de la Costa Daurada ULTRA Trail
14th edition
The fourteen edition of the Ultra Trail Muntanyes de la COSTA DAURADA will take place on 18th and 19th of April 2026. If you want to discover the most beautiful corners of the mountains of the Costa Daurada and Muntanyes de Prades, do not hesitate, this is your race. There will be different distances to enjoy at the pace that each one chooses.
TWO DAYS OF PÙRE TRAILRUNNING
With the aim of boosting trail running in the Prades area and the Baix Camp region, we’re bringing back the two-day format, dedicating each day to a different type of athlete: Saturday the 18th will be dedicated to the long distances of Ultra Trail and Marathon; and on Sunday the 19th, the spotlight will be on the shorter distances of 23k, 10k trail and trek, and the 5k Start Trail. TYPES OF REFRESHMENTS
- AVI 0: water, fruit, energetic bar,
- AVI 1: water, soft drinks, cheese/ham small sandwiches, fruit, biscuits, nuts, isotonic drinks, etc.
- AVI 2: Avi1 + pasta/rice and soup.

Starting time: 8h
Starting place: Prades
Refreshments: There will be water, fruit and energy bars at each refreshment point along the race.
Light refreshments: There will be 3 light refreshments (AV1) during the race. The AV1 will consist of water, soft drinks, mini sausage/cheese sandwiches, fruit, biscuits, nuts, isotonic drink, etc.
Full refreshments: There will be 2 full refreshments (AV2). Apart from including the food and drinks of the AV1, it will include Pasta or Rice and broth.
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
To participate in the race, a medical certificate is not required. To score in the Catalan Cup and Catalan Championship, a valid medical certificate is required. The medical certificate can be handed in at the race number collection point or sent to [email protected] before Thursday 27 March.
ECO-RACE
There will be not plastic glasses throughout the race. You must to have a reusable glass on the race. If you want. the organization will sell you a special glass to be used throughout the race. Liquid provisioning posta will only have water. At the light and complete provisioning posts there will be other drinks, but they can only be drunk in situ. Cans or other racers’ drink containers can only be filled with water.
EXTERNAL ASSISTANCE
It is forbidden to receive external aid or to be accompanied by other people that are not racers registered in the race. External assistance is ONLY permitted in the LIGHT and COMPLETE provisioning posts areas only for 1 person. Outside these areas, external help or assistance is forbidden.
Racers are responsible for their own food or hydration during the race. It is advisable a minimum of calories at the beginning of the race ensure a semi-autonomous participation in the race.
At the finishing line, there will be an light provisioning post.

Temporary accident insurance (mandatory if you are not federated): + € 10 (Ultra + Mtcd), + € 4 ((Trails 23K and 11K) – TREK11k and Start Trail 7k included in the price).
-CANCELLATIONS: If you are registered and want to make a CANCELLATION, it is processed by sending an email to [email protected] (you have to put: name, surname, ID, phone number, email, reason and proof, payment method, the day you made registration and an account number where to return the money).
-CANCELLATION INSURANCE: By hiring this service you can cancel your participation in the race without having to justify any reason, up to one week before the event. It can only be contracted when registering. Price: € 10 (UTMCD/TMCD) and €5 (TRAILS).
-ACTIVITY CANCELLATION POLICY: We understand that sometimes plans change. Once the registration is made, a penalty will be applied for changes or cancellation equivalent to 50% of the price of the same and up to seven days before the event (with proof). From this moment there will be no economic return for cancellation, except for the cancellation of the test as a result of restrictions imposed by COVID-19.

- Reusable Cup: For environmental reasons (ECO-Race), we will not give any cup at the refreshment stations during the race. You can buy our glass that is reusable, fun, easy to store and with a capacity of 250cl that will help you to drink at the aid stations and fountains. Price:
- Cancellation insurance: By hiring the cancellation insurance (€ 5 Trails – € 10 Ultra) you can recover the money for the race in the event that you cannot come, we only ask that you notify us 10 days before.
